I'm currently off work for the next week, incase people wonder where I've got to.

My wife gave birth to our baby boy, Louis, yesterday at 4:06pm.

I'll be taking a small amount of time off to help both my wife recover and to spend time as a family with our new addition.

I will get to everyone as soon as I can but obviously I'm running slightly behind due to this.

Had my Greemech 13-23 chipper stolen on Monday from the Bolsover area.

Not exactly the most common model to begin with but it had a one off stainless steel tank on it that I recently had made. The A frame was beefed up. Tail board on it. Diesel engine.

Please if anyone gets offered it or see it, let me know! Unfortunately I wasn't insured and they've stolen part of my livelihood. Would rather them have taken my car.

Was also a lot of sentimental value as it was my brothers who died in a car crash in 2023. So i really would like to find it if possible 🤞

GreenMech 13-23 tow along chipper stolen by some scruffy sc**at with big feet (atleast size 11 from foot prints in the snow) early hours of the morning from St lawrence avenue in Bolsover.

The chipper is a tow along in green with a distinctive silver tank.

Please check cameras and let me know if this is seen.

My livelihood lies on this, but was also very sentimental given it was my now deceased brothers.

Please help

We are hosting a charity event for what would have been Jason Steven Goodall's 40th birthday. All proceeds from the event will be split 50/50 between Ashgate Hospice and Brake.

If you'd like to attend, please let us know. Tickets are limited in number so we will be operating a first come, first served system.

Tables will be 10-12 guests so if you want to fill a table, please let us know. Payment will be required in full within a month of reserving, if no payment received, tickets will be released for sale again. If you need a bit longer to pay, please contact one of us and we will make a note.

Note that the children's price will be a children's meal. We haven't set an age limit on that but please keep that in mind when securing your tickets.

We are hoping for a really successful event and a really fun night raising money for two great charities. We would love for you to be there.

We are also looking for possible donations of prizes for raffles and/or auctions on the night. Any donations will be appreciated and you will have exposure and a mention on the night, aswell as feedback on the total raised from the event. We have provisions, and expect, approx 300 guests.

Just to let everyone know I'm out every day working hard to try and catch up.

Unfortunately a period of illness, followed by a short break and lots and lots of rain, has caused regulars to fall behind somewhat. With it also being May, they have grown much more than any other time of the year, meaning they are also taking longer to get through too.

Rest assured I've not forgotten you and am working at 100% capacity to get to everyone, but unfortunately I can only be in 1 place at a time.

For areas that have implied green bin charges from 1st April.

Please be aware it costs us also to dispose of green waste, as well as additional time and planning in a morning or evening to get to the tip.

Please can my regular customers consider paying the £30 council fee for the service.for the year, as it will cost me far more over the year per garden. I do not dispose of grass for free.

I will therefore unfortunately have to add a nominal fee on to any garden I need to take waste away. (Between £2.50-£5 per visit for a small to average garden or as much as £10 for a larger plot). This is purely to try and cover costs. Anyone who is going to keep the green bin, I will be honouring last year's price as appreciation for helping us manage waste.

My personal recommendation is the green bin service as it'll work out cheaper when our waste fees are considered.

Due to finally having the heart to change primary contact details from Jason to myself on Google, our business account on there got disabled until I realised due to a customer telling me he couldn't find me on Google.

I have now managed to get it reinstated after explaining circumstances of the changes.

The only issue is I've lost all Google reviews for some reason! Which is a real kick in the teeth . Losing all the opinions of those that were happy with us previously. Reviews myself and Jason worked hard to get.

If I've worked for you previously and you've been happy, please if you couldtake a few minutes to revisit my Google listing and leave an honest review, it would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to thank everyone for their continued support over the last few week, it's been extremely overwhelming.

I would like to assure all the regulars that I am now back at work full time and hope to get back on track if people could just be patient over the next couple of visits. I'll be with you as soon as I can.

I need to find my feet again but rest assured S G Gardening will continue to function, just maybe on smaller scale
