The company was formed in 1997 by Richard Simmonite a time served electrical Engineer with over 30 years of experience within the Rail sector, and today Emeg is one of the largest privately owned, Rail focused company within the industry. Emeg offer turnkey solutions to all projects from new build, enhancement & refurbishment works. Throughout our long standing history, work has been mainly within
the maintenance depots works, station upgrades and re signalling / pway project works. Long term clients include Network Rail, London Underground, Eurostar, Alstom, Bombardier, BAM Nuttall, Birse Rail, Carillion, Chiltern Railways, Volker Fitzpatrick and a host of major blue chip contractors. Employing a consistent site workforce of full time employed engineers, electricians, pipe fitters, gas installers, heating & ventilation engineers. All ably controlled by our project management teams backed up with off site services of SQE, estimating, procurement and design.
