Notice a smoky/sooty smell indoors lately? 🌡️🔥

We’ve had a few calls about this over the weekend and today.

With the hot weather across the UK 🥵 some chimneys can temporarily reverse airflow, pushing stale soot odours back into the home.

This is known as a chimney downdraught and is quite common during heatwaves.

If the smell persists, it may be time for a chimney sweep or inspection 🔥🔥😄👍🔥🔥

We had an urgent soot-uation call out today to rescue a pigeon trapped in a chimney 🕊️

Pigeon rescued and released and the coo-stomer can relax again without hearing flue-ttering in the fireplace 🔥😄🔥

Returning soon to fit chimney cowls to stop unwanted guests 😄👍
