A quick thank you to all my customers this week.

It’s been a hot one, and I’ve been very grateful for all the cold drinks, hot drinks and even the ice creams that have kept me going.

Despite the heat, it’s been business as usual, turning up and keeping gardens looking their best. So thank you for all the recommendations, repeat bookings and encouragement. It really does mean a lot.

Transformation in Morton today 💪

One of those jobs that looks straightforward… until you start digging 😅

This area had quite a few w**ds and thick bramble roots hidden underneath, so everything had to be properly dug out and cleared by hand rather than just cut back on the surface.

A lot of digging, hand w**ding, root removal and levelling later and it’s now back to a clean blank canvas again 👌

Still limited availability left for next week for garden tidy-ups, mowing and w**ding 🌱

Proud of this one — border transformation in Tapton brought back to a clean, structured finish ✅

Borders stripped back, all w**ds removed, re shaped and finished with w**d membrane and fresh bark. Some existing plants salvaged and repositioned.

New planting added including veronica, lupins, lavender, pampas grass, ornamental grasses and salix, all sourced from Dunston Hall Garden Centre

Driveway, patio, existing borders and pathways fully w**ded, hedges trimmed and lawn striped to finish.

Fully booked next week, some availability from the following week onwards.

Full day on this one with a bit of everything…

Hedge cutting, shrub pruning, dense ivy removal, border edging, w**d control and gave the lawn its first cut of the season 👍

Got it all back under control and looking spot on.

First cut this year, fresh stripes, crisp edges ☀️🌿

Sunny Saturday helping my mum move into her new house, so naturally the lawns had to be sorted.

Both front and back had got a bit long and uneven, but a proper cut makes a huge difference straight away.

Massive difference once it’s all cut back and striped up properly 👌

If your lawn’s starting to get away from you, now’s the time to get it back under control for the season.

One off tidy ups and regular maintenance available.

Spring garden reset completed in Hasland today.

We cleared the borders, removed w**ds, cut back shrubs and redefined the lawn edges to bring the garden back into shape.

The tree in the rear corner was pollarded, and a small gravel area was created near the shed where the grass struggles in the shade.

Plenty of wild garlic in the borders too. An easy way to recognise it is by crushing a leaf as it gives off a strong garlic smell.

Garden resets and regular maintenance. Limited slots remaining.

Planting trees where we’ll be getting married 🌅

Earlier this week I planted hundreds of native trees on my fiancée’s family farm in the Derbyshire countryside, in the field opposite the spot where we’ll be getting married this summer.

Safe to say they won’t have grown much by then, but hopefully they’ll still make the perfect backdrop for the wedding photos.

Oak, field maple, hazel, Scots pine and silver birch, all planted and protected to create shelter for wildlife and livestock.

A small change to the landscape that we’ll always remember when we look out across that view in the years to come.
