Last sunset of the summer 🌅☀️

And just like that, August comes to an end and autumn is waiting around the corner. 🍂

After such a long, dry summer, the recent rain might not have been quite as welcome for the bank holiday plans… but the gardens will certainly be grateful for it! 🌧️🌱

With the ground finally getting some proper moisture again, we should start to see lawns greening up and the grass putting on some growth — which means the mowers will soon be earning their keep again! 😂

A beautiful way to finish the summer, and now onto one of the busiest times of year for keeping gardens tidy.

Nothing quite says British Bank Holiday like standing in the pouring rain in a little Welsh village, waiting for a giant papier-mâché fish to be carried through town… followed by a procession of “wailing widows” and a brass band. 😂🌧️🐟🎺

Even when the Three Counties team are enjoying a well-earned Bank Holiday break, apparently the boss still manages to find himself standing outside in the rain… some things never change! 😂

Hope all of our customers, friends and followers are having a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend — whatever weird and wonderful things you’ve found yourselves doing.

GCSE RESULTS DAY 🎓

To everyone getting their results today — remember this:

Your results don’t decide where you’ll end up in life. Your attitude and work ethic do.

Whether you smashed it, didn’t get what you hoped for, or you’re not quite sure what comes next — today is only the starting point.

Think about where you want to be, then work backwards and figure out the route to get there.

There’s nearly always another route. 👊

Qualifications can open doors, but hard work, attitude, reliability and the willingness to learn will take you a very long way.

Congratulations to everyone getting their results today — whatever is written on that piece of paper, what you do next matters far more. 💪🎓

🌿 A LITTLE TIME TO RECHARGE… ☀️

After a very intensive few weeks, the Three Counties Property Care team are taking a few days out to enjoy some much-needed downtime with our families. ❤️

Running a local business means there are plenty of early mornings, late finishes and busy weeks — so every now and then it’s important to put the tools down and enjoy some proper family time.

We’ll be back on Thursday 20th August, refreshed and ready to get stuck back in! 💪🌱

Any messages or enquiries received while we’re away are absolutely fine — we’ll work through them as soon as we return.

Jacob’s finally finished his big er****on… and fair play, it’s standing beautifully. 😂💪

This cracking pergola is now fully built and finished, giving the garden a brilliant covered area ready to enjoy whatever the British weather decides to throw at it. ☀️🌧️

Jacob looks pretty pleased with the size of it too. 😎😂

A well-earned day keeping everything looking its best. 🌿

The last few weeks have been far from easy.

The extreme weather has made what is already a physically demanding job even tougher. Long days in the heat, keeping grounds maintained to the high standards our customers expect, has taken a huge effort from the whole team.

We’d like to take a moment to say a massive thank you to every member of the Three Counties Property Care team. Your hard work, dedication and professionalism haven’t gone unnoticed. You’ve continued to give your all, even when the conditions have been anything but easy.

We’d also like to thank all of our customers for their patience and understanding. On the odd occasion we’ve had to adjust schedules or change our working hours, it’s been to make sure our team can continue working safely while still delivering the quality of service you expect from us.

We’re doing everything we can to stay on top of our maintenance schedules, but the wellbeing of our staff will always come first.

To everyone who’s offered a cold drink, a bit of shade, or simply understood the challenges we’ve been working through—thank you. It really is appreciated.

Here’s hoping for some kinder weather and many more grounds kept looking their absolute best.

🏡 FOR SALE? FIRST IMPRESSIONS COUNT! 🏡

This garden is being tidied up ready to help sell the property, and what a difference a day of maintenance can make!

Overgrown lawns and untidy gardens can make a property feel smaller and harder to picture as a family home. A simple cut, trim and tidy has completely opened this space back up and made it look cared for again.

Credit to Jacob for getting this one looking smart again 👏

⚠️ Although we’re still investigating reports that he fell on the trampoline three times during the process… purely for quality control purposes, of course! 🤣
