Heritage is a wonderful industry to be in.

It’s not all chocolate box timber framed cottages.

What we love about heritage is the variety, last week we were working on an early 12th century church, then a 15th century timber framed house.

But this week a 19th century concrete tower and a series of concrete buildings.

This one was just the test tower for the main event which stands at 218 feet tall, the world’s tallest non-reinforced concrete structure.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planner at Manorwood due to our ever increasing and varied workload.
 
Manorwood is a planning and heritage consultancy established in 2015, which has been recognised for its high quality developments and has won multiple Sussex Heritage Awards.
 
We are a friendly team of planners, project managers, historic building consultants, architects and designers.
 
As a Senior Planner in the team you would submit and manage a caseload of planning applications, write planning and design and access statements and provide advice on planning matters to our clients.
 
We are looking for someone with a good level of planning experience, ideally at senior level, either in Local Authority Planning Department or Private Practice.
