Happy Easter 🐣
Extension Gainsborough complete ✅

We’re absolutely delighted to share the finished exterior of this 7m x 3m timber-framed extension in Selsey.
Designed and built to maximise light and space, the new addition features beautiful sage-green horizontal cladding, crisp white uPVC windows and doors, a flat roof with a large roof light, and a generous paved patio area ready for those sunny coastal days. Every detail has been finished to the highest standard, from the clean timber framing to the perfect integration with the existing house.
A huge thank you to the homeowners for trusting us with the project — it’s been a pleasure to deliver this one.
We’ll be posting the full interior reveal in the near future once everything inside is completely finished and styled — we want it perfect before we show you! Stay tuned.

Replaced with beautiful aluminium Heritage French doors — classic looks with modern performance.
We adjusted the brickwork properly, then fully plasterboarded and skimmed the internals for a seamless finish.
The room feels so much brighter and more connected to the garden.

Another garden cleared and prepped in just ONE day by the JLaker Home Improvements team!
We demolished:
• Small rear porch
• 3m x 6.5m decking
• Brick planter + all that compost
• Old shed
• Compost bin

Boot Room complete 🤩

Another happy client in Chichester, West Sussex! 🚀 We just completed a smart part-garage conversion, turning unused space into a super-practical (and seriously stylish) boot room.
We built sturdy stud walls across the back of the garage with Celotex insulation sandwiched in for great thermal performance, backed with 18mm OSB for solid fixings on the garage side, and finished internally with 12mm plasterboard + skim plaster to seamlessly blend it into the house.
At one end: a handy walk-in cupboard with spotlights. The main boot room features recessed spotlights, a couple of new double sockets, gorgeous herringbone flooring, fresh skirting & architraves, and that gorgeous matte blue panelling that ties it all together. We added an IKEA wardrobe system for coats + dedicated shelving for shoes—practical meets pretty!
Best bit? Full access from the house into the new boot room, plus a new door so you can still pop straight through to the garage without missing a beat. No more muddy footprints through the house! 🥾✨
This transformation has made mornings so much smoother for the family—and it looks amazing too.

We’ve just finished installing stunning James Hardie board cladding in the beautiful soft green Lavant shade on this charming home extension in the local area.
This durable, low-maintenance fiber cement cladding not only looks incredible with its subtle, timeless green tone that blends perfectly against the brickwork and blue sky—but it’s built to last, resisting weather and needing minimal upkeep. New front door to follow.
