This one off Shepherd’s hut or living wagon has been hand crafted by the whole team at Greenman Carpentry….. we designed and built it using the highest quality materials including locally sourced timber and wood fibre insulation…. We designed the hut to be largely maintenance free by using finishes that would never require painting and that would age beautifully over time. The interior frame and walls are crafted out of West Sussex Ash while the exterior is made using a mixture of ebonised Chestnut and Shou Sugi Ban (a Japanese technique where the exterior face of the board is charred to protect from rain, rot, fire and water)
There is zero plastic in this hut, all joints are hand cut and pegged by craftsmen ……
This will make a super home office or sleepout for someone who appreciates well crafted products that will last a lifetime.…or more! Internal dimensions are 3.6m long x 2.1m wide x 2.3m high. External dimensions are 4.4m long x 2.2m wide x 3.3m high. Please DM or email for more details…..
