Dangerous Elm removal in local churchyard with Milo and Josh, it suffered storm damage and had a split down the centre of the stem, it was unsafe and would of fractured and fallen in the next storm, I dismantled the tree without rigging, rip cutting so that material would fall brush end down to avoid damage to gravestones, casting hand log sections in any available areas. I felt sad this had to happen because you don’t see mature Elms anymore due to Dutch Elm disease. This was a protected tree and I had authority to fell under emergency notice.

Leggy oak reduced at a local property till lunchtime finished off the garden side from rope and harness. starting uplifting some willows on the boundary in the afternoon.

5-6 years later back to repollard this oak again, can’t remember exactly, abit windy this morning which actually worked in my favour casting out cut material away from the dwelling, I left a smattering of live growth throughout which I like to do but mostly everything cut back to knuckles, Josh was kept busy processing brush through chipper and there wasn’t hardly anything to do when I got down apart from a quick rake up and blow🤷

This was a very spreading TPO Oak we crown reduced yesterday and today with myself and josh, I used the picker to reduce the garden side and some of the top yesterday roping off basket to get into centre when needed, today I had to finish off the back side of the tree from rope and harness over neighbouring gardens, and tidied up in good time.
