A huge congratulations to Ethan Randell on graduating.

Ethan has been an apprentice with us at LGM, studying Construction Design and Build Technician .

It's a fantastic achievement and one that marks the beginning of an exciting career in construction.

At a time when our industry continues to face a shortage of skilled trades, it's more important than ever to encourage and support the next generation. As technology and AI continue to evolve, there will always be a need for people with practical skills, craftsmanship, problem-solving abilities and pride in their work. Homes, heritage buildings and quality construction are built by people.

Revisiting Spinney Cottage, three years on.

It was a pleasure to return to this completed project and capture the interiors now fully lived in, with the kitchen sitting at the heart of the home.

Seeing a space several years after completion gives a different perspective on the build.

The detailing, layout, materials and workmanship are no longer just part of the construction process, they are part of daily life.
These two kitchen views show how considered construction and careful finishing continue to shape the way a home feels and functions long after handover.

A beautiful project to be recognised for, and a real testament to the care, craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into every stage of the build.

Introducing Ella Close, one of our current projects now progressing through the structural stage.

The external cladding is being installed, giving the house its first real sense of form, finish and character.

This is a slightly more technical build, with two different front-facing angles that require careful coordination on site to make sure the structure, detailing and external finish all come together as intended.

It is always exciting to see a project at this stage, where the design starts to become easier to read and the home begins to take shape.

An update from our Waterside project.

The internal works are progressing well, with the interiors now beginning to take shape and the finer details starting to come through on site.

As temperatures rise, spaces built around outdoor living come into their own.

A well-designed pool house is far more than an outbuilding, it's a a space that determines how the home is used, creating a practical connection between the main property, the garden and the pool.

This pool house was delivered with the same level of care and detail as the main home which has brought together structure, materials and finish to create a space that feels purposeful and built for everyday use.

With summer finally here, it got us thinking about outdoor areas in a home.

Outdoor areas become especially important during the summer months, but their success is shaped long before the furniture is in place.
