Not quite a farewell… but definitely a strange feeling 🌿

After months of planning, painting, cutting, planting, packing and problem-solving… everything is finally loaded up and ready to head to Birmingham next week for BBC Gardeners’ World Live.

Seeing the workspace suddenly empty and knowing The Heart of the Jungle now exists in vans, crates and carefully packed plants feels very surreal.

There’s still a huge amount of work ahead, but honestly? We’re just incredibly excited to finally start building this garden for real 🌴

Now all we need to survive is the 4am drive from West Sussex to the NEC 😅🚐

Next stop… build week 👀

Not everything goes quite to plan when you’re building a show garden with technical cuts… especially when it’s only 6 weeks away 😅🌿

Jon had just finished cutting one of the slabs for The Heart of the Jungle at BBC Gardeners’ World Live… only for it to split right at the end.

Cue one very well-earned bleeped-out reaction 🎤😂

Behind every polished show garden is a lot of problem solving, re-cutting, dust, teamwork and the occasional moment where you simply have to laugh and start again.

Thankfully we move on quickly… eventually 👀🌴
