Pascoe Interiors

Pascoe Interiors BIID Awards Winner 2022 & named one of “Britains Top 20 Best Interior Designers”. Delivering Modern British, Sustainable Design for Life.

Introducing the Black Book Collaborative for exclusive offering a white glove concept to completion service. MINI BIOGRAPHY:
Clare Pascoe achieved a BSc Honours degree in Design, Technology & Business from the Engineering faculty of Plymouth University before going on to work in the City as Marketing Executive for forefront City ISP BusinessNet, and later as an Assistant in the Brand Management de

partment at international Beauty corporate Coty UK Ltd, assisting on the Rimmel & Cutex brands. In order to realise her passion for Interior Design, Clare left her career in Marketing and Brand Management to study at the prestigious KLC School of Interior Design in Chelsea, completing the course with Honors. After working as Assistant to Swedish style interior designer Sasha Waddell, Clare went on to establish her London based design firm Molten UK Ltd in 2000, and later Pascoe Interiors Ltd. Fourteen years later, and counting, Clare still loves her job with a passion that transfers to each individual project. Clare is approachable, professional and knowledgeable, and brings confidence, efficiency and an individual design eye to all projects. DESIGN STYLE:
Having been an avid personal collector of Mid Century furniture, Clare developed an in depth love, knowledge and appreciation for Mid Century furniture and Modernist design. These inspirations went on to shape Clare’s signature Vintage Contemporary design style. By placing key pieces of Mid Century furniture within contemporary settings, against a pared back Nordic palette accented with bold accents and tactile textures, Clare’s highly desirable interiors are clean lined and perfectly balanced. SUSTAINABLE DESIGN POLICY:
By sourcing primarily from a network of UK and European dealers, British Designer Makers and skilled British Suppliers, such as the last remaining fabric mills across the UK, Clare proves that sustainable can be attainable and beautiful. Clare believes that all designers have a duty to design responsibly by reusing and reupholstering comfortable & timeless pieces whose current aesthetic does not fit the new scheme to reduce the impact on landfill and to ensure that Clients buy only items that will offer true longevity rather than quick or impulsive fixes, even if that means waiting a bit longer to buy that much coveted item. This policy is a goal to delivery beautiful, ethical interiors that does not restrict creativity or Client choice; rather Clare presents Clients with a wide range of options from which they can then make a fully informed decision to suit and future proof their lifestyle. BIID MEMBERSHIP:

It is such an honour to be part of a beautiful, historic buildings journey. To have the opportunity to preserve, cherish and embellish such buildings for the joy of future generations is a true privilege. As we walk around assessing progress and discussing next step, we can’t help but feel the past as we consider the future. If the walls could talk, what would they tell us…….

When selecting accessories and finishing details for listed buildings, resist the temptation to choose from a limited epoch that ties in with the period of the building. By selecting beautiful, juxtaposing modern details you create an interior in which both shine in contrast with the other rather than ending up with an interior that is slavishly period. Thank you to for couriering these beautiful samples in time for our meeting. Now the hard part…. Which to choose? (All maybe?).

Pulling together the right blend of textures, colours and materials to build an interior scheme that will function as beautifully as it looks now and far into the future takes skill and experience. Knowing where to keep things simple to create a pasted back base, accented with just the right amount luxury or colour pops to lift the scheme. It’s a part of the job that I love - especially when I see my clients reactions when I bring together colours they never would have dreamed of paring, yet they instantly fall in love with the results.

I was thrilled to be invited by Designed Magazine to write an article on trends.

Do read my article to see that it is possible to balance trends and sustainability even though more often than not they are unlikely partners.

When sustainability & longevity are at the core of making each decision, we deliver the most successful & authentic interiors for our clients. This is something I will always strive to achieve.

Thank you to Designed Magazine & Niche PR for this amazing opportunity.

I’m so proud to see this project so nearly complete. This is a one off, new build home of repeat clients who had such a tough journey to get through planning.

Since the first Covid lock down I’ve worked with them on a various elements of the project, including colour schemes, a garden lighting plan that meets the SDNP Dark Sky requirements & this stunning kitchen design.

Working with clients on their Interior Design is often a long working relationship. We get to know one another well & I always fully invest in the project. The end result isn’t mine, it’s a collaboration of all our ideas & skills, and they certainly curated every decision beautifully.

I don’t have to be working on a full house project to be willing to offer my input across just the areas my clients most need me.

After YEARS of dreaming, planning, and working towards this moment my clients they LOVE their home, which fills me with genuine happiness.
