We recently completed this bathroom refurb for one of our landlord clients at a property in Ilford, Essex.

To say the bathroom was in need of refurbishment is an understatement! Judging by the tiles and suite I would imagine this bathroom was fitted over 30 years ago and was truely at the end of its lifespan with rotted wood, leaks, loose tiles, bad mould, faulty extractor fan and everything in between!

We completely stripped this back, re plumbed all pipework, rewired the electrics, boarded all the walls and ceiling, plastered the entire room, renewed the sub floor, levelled the floor, laid flooring membrane, new storage unit door frame and doors and that’s just the prep work!
Finished with porcelain floor tiles, metro wall tiles, Scudo bathroom suite and fully finished with painting and mastic man!

A crazy transformation done within 10 days and within a reasonable budget for a rental property.

One of the best and most cost effective ways to gain more usable space in your house is converting a garage or outbuilding… And this post shows why!

We recently refurbished this out house / garage which had not seen much love over decades!
We transformed this in to a completely usable space and addition to the home!

Here’s another job completed a few weeks back in Woodford Green, Essex.

This was a refurbishment of the majority of the ground floor including the hallway and through lounge.
Lots of bespoke carpentry work included in this job such as a new media wall with bespoke made cabinetry and under shelf lighting, additional bespoke made cupboards for extra storage and under stairs storage!
We also laid a new herringbone floor throughout, new radiators, new woodwork including stairs, skirting and doors as well as completely painted throughout!

Here’s a kitchen / diner knock through we completed last week in South Woodford, East London.

We removed supporting wall that was separating the existing kitchen and dining room, we also removed a chimney breast within the dining room to allow for the new kitchen to be repositioned on that wall as well as 2 small supporting walls under the stair case to open up the room…
We also made the window opening a lot larger to let in more light as well as changed the windows and doors.
We then plastered the entire room, kitchen fitted from Howdens with a small island / breakfast bar, engineered wood flooring laid which we run through to the hallway and front room as well new skirtings, doors and wood work!

A complete refurbishment of the entire ground floor which completely changed the usability of the house and another happy customer!

The before and after pictures show wha a massive difference a wall removal can do for a kitchen / living space!
