🍄 Same inspiration. Different imaginations. 🍂

This week, our KS 1/2 and KS 3/4 Creative Clubs explored the wonderful world of fungi and the forest floor!

With real mushrooms, interesting textures and plenty of materials to inspire them, everyone took the theme in their own direction.

From colourful leaf collages and enchanted forests to delicate watercolours and wonderfully imaginative mushrooms, every creation was different.

And that's just how we like it at CappARTcino! 💕

A little sneak peek! 🎨❄️

I've been enjoying some painting time alongside my Adult Creative Sessions and KS 3/4 groups recently, and it's been lovely creating together.

We've all been enjoying working on our own pieces, chatting and sharing ideas as we go.

Here's a little glimpse of one of my winter paintings. I'll share the finished piece soon! 💕

Express Yourself! 🎨

These two lovely paintings from today's Adult Creative Session sum up what CappARTcino is all about!

One artist caught up on last week's woodland creatures, while another finished a very special painting of her friend's cat, ready to give as a gift. 🦉🐈‍⬛

Today's theme was fungi, but nobody painted fungi - and that's absolutely fine!

Our themes are there to inspire, not restrict. Everyone is welcome to explore their own ideas, work at their own pace and create something meaningful to them.

And that's just how we like it! 💕

Meet Ophelia 🦉✨
A little impromptu A5 painting I did with my KS 3/4 group on Saturday. I used up paint left in the children's palettes, one brush, and I didn't wash it once!
I love the slightly magical feel of the background - and those colours feel very at home at CappARTcino.
I think you may be seeing more of her... 💕

We’ll use my painting as our starting point, but there’ll be plenty of opportunity to change the colours, treats and tiny details to make every bakery completely their own. 🎨

🎨 Introducing… Mini Masters!
Following the success of Mini Masters for our Vision Redbridge MegaMix sessions this summer, a new little creative experience is coming to CappARTcino…
Mini Masters are one-hour sessions for children and adults, inspired by some of the world's best-loved artists.
We'll take a little inspiration from their colours, ideas and ways of painting - then you'll create something completely your own.
And because every masterpiece deserves to be displayed, your mini canvas and easel are both yours to take home! 💗
We're beginning with…
🍂 Mini Masters: Autumn with Monet
Create your own miniature autumn landscape inspired by Monet's beautiful autumn colours and expressive brushstrokes.
£12 per person · 1 hour
For ages 4+ and adults
Children under 16 must attend with a participating adult.
