Our award winning week continues 😀👍 We’re delighted to have secured the Planned Internal Works Contract for Kitchens and Bathrooms with Hackney Council via the Fusion21 Framework’s ‘Building Improvement Works’ programme.

The contract, valued at circa £4 million over a potential 24-month period commencing in 2026, forms part of Hackney Council’s ongoing investment into its capital improvement programmes across its housing stock 🏠

As part of the delivery strategy, Hackney Council placed significant importance on appointing both local SME contractors alongside larger organisations — recognising the positive impact this approach has on local communities, residents, and businesses.

Chigwell Group PLC will deliver planned kitchen and bathroom improvement works, continuing our commitment to providing high-quality, resident-focused solutions within the public sector.

The good news keeps coming 😀👍😀 Chigwell Group plc can announce the award of two major contracts with Redbridge Council via the CHIC Framework, further strengthening our long-standing commitment to delivering high-quality housing improvement and fire safety works within the communities we serve.

As one of only two appointed contractors across both programmes, these awards represent a significant milestone for the business and reinforce our position as a trusted local delivery partner within the social housing sector.

Contract 1️⃣ Decent Homes Kitchens & Bathrooms Programme (Call-off)
Deliver a comprehensive programme of kitchen and bathroom upgrades designed to support the Decent Homes Standard, meet lifecycle replacement obligations, and reduce risks associated with disrepair and poor health outcomes for residents.

Contract 2️⃣ Fire Door Replacement & Remediation Programme.
Deliver critical and high-risk fire door replacement and remediation works to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and evolving regulatory expectations.

Our responsibilities across the programme will include survey and measurement, mobilisation, resident consultation, installation, and ongoing project delivery management.

Both programmes are scheduled to commence in 2026, with a combined contract value in excess of £6 million.

We’re proud to announce that Chigwell Construction has secured the Enfield Council Voids 2026 Contract — another fantastic milestone in our growing public sector portfolio. 🎉
The 36-month contract, valued at £1.5 million, will see our team carry out comprehensive void property works across Enfield Council’s housing stock, helping bring empty homes back to a safe, clean, and lettable standard for residents as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Our works will include ✅ Property clearance ✅Repairs and maintenance ✅ Testing and compliance checks ✅Component replacements ✅Cleaning and finishing works ✅Pre-void and post-void activities.

This award reflects our continued commitment to delivering high-quality services and building strong partnerships with local authorities.

We’re pleased to share progress on our latest refurbishment project in Leatherhead, Surrey, where Chigwell Group is carrying out extensive external improvement works across seven residential blocks. 🏗️

The programme includes reroofing, brickwork repointing, and external redecoration works — helping to improve the look, durability, and long-term quality of the homes for residents and the wider community.

Fantastic work by our team on site as the project continues to move forward safely and efficiently. 👏

A major residential renovation currently underway in Surrey for Chigwell Group 🔨

This substantial property is undergoing a full transformation, including extensive internal reconfiguration, structural alterations, and the construction of a brand-new rear extension.

Works on site include:
✔️ Soft strip demolition
✔️ Structural steel installation
✔️ New openings formed
✔️ Fire compartmentation upgrades
✔️ Full MEP replacement
✔️ Drainage modifications
✔️ Bespoke joinery
✔️ Complete internal fit-out throughout

A fantastic project to be involved in, with careful coordination and attention to detail required at every stage. We look forward to sharing more progress as the build continues.

Back on site at Small Acres, Hatfield Peverel yesterday to see how much progress has been made.

Our exciting development of 19 new homes is really starting to take shape and it’s fantastic to see everything coming together so well.

This extensive renovation project is making good progress. It involves extending the front and rear and completely remodelling the interior, plus landscaping the expansive back garden.

The impressive size of the extension is now evident with a huge skylight taking centre stage.

It’s a real privilege to be involved in such a large project and wouldn’t be possible without the fantastic team we have onsite.
