The good news keeps coming 😀👍😀 Chigwell Group plc can announce the award of two major contracts with Redbridge Council via the CHIC Framework, further strengthening our long-standing commitment to delivering high-quality housing improvement and fire safety works within the communities we serve.
As one of only two appointed contractors across both programmes, these awards represent a significant milestone for the business and reinforce our position as a trusted local delivery partner within the social housing sector.
Contract 1️⃣ Decent Homes Kitchens & Bathrooms Programme (Call-off)
Deliver a comprehensive programme of kitchen and bathroom upgrades designed to support the Decent Homes Standard, meet lifecycle replacement obligations, and reduce risks associated with disrepair and poor health outcomes for residents.
Contract 2️⃣ Fire Door Replacement & Remediation Programme.
Deliver critical and high-risk fire door replacement and remediation works to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and evolving regulatory expectations.
Our responsibilities across the programme will include survey and measurement, mobilisation, resident consultation, installation, and ongoing project delivery management.
Both programmes are scheduled to commence in 2026, with a combined contract value in excess of £6 million.
