We're Hiring – HGV Trade Waste Driver

MJ Church's Waste Management team is continuing to grow, and we're looking for a reliable HGV Trade Waste Driver to join us in Marshfield or Avonmouth.

We're looking for someone with a valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence (Class 1 / C+E also welcome), along with a Driver CPC and Digi Tachograph card.

The role involves carrying out scheduled trade waste collections from commercial customers, working independently on a single-person operated round.

Lithium batteries can pose a significant fire risk when incorrectly disposed of in general waste.

Vapes and e-cigarettes, power banks, mobile phones, laptops, power tools and many other everyday items can contain lithium batteries. If these enter a waste collection, they can become crushed, punctured or damaged, potentially causing a fire.

MJ Church cannot accept lithium batteries within any type of waste collection. Please check before you throw items away and make sure batteries are removed and disposed of through an appropriate recycling route.
