Built in shaker style wardrobe built over the stair bulkhead in this bedroom from February, Really maximising the space well, and doing so looking great at the same time! ⚒️

We also installed floor to ceiling panelling on the back wall of the bedroom, painted the same colour as the wardrobes!

Couple of roofing jobs completed the last few weeks 🔨

First being a re-roof of two mid terraced properties, unfortunately the old tar paper felt had came to the end of its life. We stripped both roofs, replacing the tar paper for a more modern breathable membrane, with new treated battens.

Next we were contracted in by builder Pat Cabell, to complete an extension flat roof. Prepped ready for the EPDM rubber roof system. This roof boasts a large 2.1m by 3m sky light going in the middle, which will be a focal point of this extension!

Here is the stunning bookshelf that we built before Christmas, painted and in full use.

Our lovely repeat clients wanted a bookshelf which not only acts as a media wall to house a TV, but to provide a touch of elegance being a primarily a bookshelf. without being too over powering to this very old property.

I think we achieved that, with each opening being enclosed with a staff bead boarder, finished in the same colour as the room. And scribed perfectly as if it’s always been there.

Well it’s been a busy start to the year, with our first job being a little renovation! Whole new kitchen, complete downstairs flooring and skirting throughout! 🔨

This absolutely stunning kitchen boasts a flawless finish from the design. Complete custom made Iroko extractor hood, shelves and my favourite part of this kitchen.. the handmade bifold Iroko larder doors, and within the larder our client wants to wrap the back with a unique pattern!

She has chosen to opt for a colour match silicone to match the kitchen colour, which will be done along side the painting, she’ll be tiling under the extractor herself!

Thanks to CM Electrical and Adam dixon for the electrics & plumbing!

Well, here they are.. 4 absolutely stunning custom made guest cabin beds. Finished just in time for Christmas 🎄

We were called in to build these one off cabin beds, given a rough sketch to go by we designed a vision. And from that vision, we fully custom built these on site 🔨

Finished with beautiful brass reading lights, handmade Armac Martin drop pull handles, solid beech bed slats and heavy duty soft close drawer runners!

This job has been an absolute pleasure! our lovely clients have been fantastic throughout, and they’re over the moon!

Well what a year this has been! 🥳

After starting this business in July, not knowing how things would pan out at all. We’ve made it to 2025 with a very successful start for CXP Carpentry & building! 😁

Been a very busy week working on these 4 cabin beds in this beautiful loft conversion, drawers and draw boxes will be being hand made today!

Plans have changed slightly, due to the dramatic room shape from being such an old property. working with the clients along the way to make sure it’s exactly how they envision!!

Been building this understair built in storage area this week, fills the area perfectly and looks incredible!! All soft close doors and drawer, ready for the customer to get it painted!

Also installed batons under the remaining area of the stairs, for the plasterers to create a curved underside, which will really finish this off nicely!! Looking forward to seeing it plastered and painted 👌🏼

Most of our work, it can be hard for the customers to really vision what it is we would be constructing. We’re now using design programs to provide detailed & scaled drawings.

By doing this, we give great visual drawings and ideas. Also gives us an advantage of providing accurate quotes for materials.

with this the possibilities are endless.. cupboards, storage, media walls, out buildings, garden design and much more!
