From a full rip out to fully installed.

Lots going on in this shower room, we added a pump to the current hot water system to give this shower the extra pressure it needed, new lights and in line fan, fully tiled with LVT flooring.

So this year has been at times really great and really bad we all know why!!

But we got through it and here we are on the last job before we stop to have a very well earned break…

Thanks to all the customers that has stuck by us and let us push their jobs back as time went on..

So much work went into this little ensuite shower room. The plan was to remove some timber and the roof and fit new but we ended up starting again!!

So off with the rotten lean-to and in with the new timber frame bathroom extension, we cladded the build with larch and fitted a rubber topped roof.

Big format tiles inside and quirky basin to fit the space.

Update on this job in Bath we’ve been on for a while now - so very nearly finished the whole job.

The master bathroom is now complete - this one has been one issue after another which ended up in a complete strip out back to bare bones!

New timber joists and a strip out to the bedroom below due to insufficient sizing of timbers and where other trades have bodged and cut away too much from the joists, weakening all the timber work.

All new pipe work in the floors suppling all the radiators and the hot and cold supply.

All done with the help of the guys I have around me - these jobs aren’t possible without them.

We are not a one spec fits all company, we are happy to take on a challenge and move with our customers needs to make the job work.

Proper rip out job this one - we are fitting a roof lantern to this kitchen to bring in more light to this dark room, the boys have removed 4 layers of different floor to take it back to it’s bare bones, found issues with the drainage and central heating feeds that will all need sorting before we start making this into a lovely space again.

A great example of why we don’t give customers exact start dates when we agree to take their jobs on and tell them what number job they are on our waiting list and as we work through the list they’re informed on how things are moving forward.

We started this job in Bath a few weeks ago, should have been a simple bathroom and ensuite with a few other bits and pieces around the house, but it quickly moved on to a much bigger job than myself and our customer anticipated.

While removing the main bathroom we discovered the old wooden floorboards were rotten and a few joists were gone too but not only that, the joist had way too much movement in them, so the answer was to replace all timber joists and start again and of course this led to additional work not only in the bathroom but in the room below! But it’s coming along nicely even if a little later than planned.

The ensuite is a whole different story again and a post will follow as soon as we progress with that one.

Today has been a good day, it seems that every job we turn up to lately there is more work and more issues than what first appeared, with losing our Billy in July the work load and stress has been full on and sometimes unmanageable, but today has been a good day.

We removed two current lintels and a pillar and fitted these two RSJ access was via a window some 6 feet of the ground but a bit of thinking and planing we managed it nicely and opened up this space ready for the new kitchen to be fitted and with all the other corresponding work involved…

Not a fan of working weekends anymore I’d sooner be with the family or out on my bike, but when help is available and jobs need sorting, needs must!

But I do like a challenge - bit of an odd one for us it’s definitely not a kitchen or bathroom!!!

Preparing a barn to be clad with metal sheeting to one side and with roof and timber cladding the other side, bit of timber here and a bit of metal work too, nearly ready to go…
