We recently wrapped up work on this complex steeply sloped garden in Wimbledon - carving out a series of new spaces for the client and their family to use - a massive transformation. Some stunning photos of this beautifully detailed architectural garden in Fulham designed Tomoko Kawauchi and Charlotte Rowe garden design studio - with a stunning central water feature by .

The strong clean lines of the pergola at the rear of the garden define an intimate and cosy seating area whilst also reflecting the linear details of the space and central water feature. A beautiful mix of structural and soft herbaceous planting wraps around the space - unifying and anchoring it.

We particularly love how the thoughtful lighting scheme washes light across the frothy water adding a warm glow across the space.

Some more photos just in of this stunning garden in south west London.

The initial layout made it difficult to fully enjoy and utilise the garden -see final photo. The client wanted a space that was much more immersive and to increase and develop the planting footprint.

Removing the lawn and central pathway has opened up a series of new spaces for relaxing and entertaining. A new second seating area, wrapped in planting, makes the garden feels more open, spacious and inviting. Widening the steps to the upper level created a stronger connection between the two areas, making the whole garden feel more welcoming and practical.
