Stump Grinder Course Success!

We were delighted to welcome the team from Chop & Chip to Devon Land Skills last week for a LANTRA Award Stump Grinder course.

A great day of practical, hands-on training with plenty of opportunities to develop confidence and competence using stump grinding equipment safely and effectively.

The team successfully completed both the training and assessment, demonstrating a great attitude, strong practical skills, and a commitment to safe working practices throughout.

It's always rewarding to work with experienced professionals who are investing in their skills and continuing their professional development.

Expanding Our Training Provision

We're pleased to share that Martin has successfully completed his Technical Evaluation with Arbor Venture Ltd, under the guidance of John Trenchard.

This achievement enables Martin to deliver and assess LANTRA Awards qualifications in:
Felling & Processing Trees Over 380mm
Individual Windblown Trees

These are valuable additions to Martin's existing skill set and further strengthen the range of specialist forestry training available through Devon Land Skills.

A big thank you to John at Arbor Venture for his support throughout the evaluation process.

We're looking forward to offering these qualifications in the near future and helping learners develop the advanced skills required to work safely and confidently in more challenging forestry environments.
