KW Bell Defibrillator Campaign ❤️‍🩹

Why are we launching this campaign?

Sam Polledri died suddenly from a cardiac arrest in Bristol in 2022. He sadly collapsed in an area that had no public defibrillator aged just 24 years old.

KW Bell Group has deep roots in the Forest of Dean, including long standing support of Cinderford RFC, where Sam’s brother Jake is a player/coach. Seeing first hand the strength of Sam’s family in setting up the foundation made this an easy decision for us.

We’re supporting the foundations’ goal of providing more of these life saving devices across the region.

Bringing hope and opportunity to the local community 🏉

A huge thank you to The Raikes Journal for sharing the story behind Pete Bell's investment in and support of Cinderford RFC.

We're incredibly proud to have helped create an asset that will secure the club's future while providing a valuable community hub for the people of Cinderford.

Since the initial investment in the playing surface, the club has experienced remarkable growth. With exciting new additions, including the padel courts, Cinderford RFC is perfectly placed to continue its impressive upward journey.

As our CEO, Pete Bell, says:
"I'm so excited it's bringing so many more people into the club."

That couldn't be more true. The investment has benefited not only spectators but players too, with the club's Mini & Juniors section growing by more than 200 players.

This is what investing in communities is all about: creating opportunities, encouraging participation and building facilities that will make a lasting difference for generations to come.

KW Bell Defibrillator Campaign ❤️‍🩹

As a reminder, KW Bell group is supporting the Sam Polledri Foundation, in partnership with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, to bring a life saving Defibrillator to our community.
The foundation has so far installed 96 devices, and we want to know the best place for the next one.

We’re reaching out to local organisations who could benefit the most from hosting one of these life saving devices, somewhere that can be most beneficial to the area around it.

KW Bell Defibrillator Campaign ❤️‍🩹

We’re delighted to be supporting our community and the Sam Polledri foundation to bring a brand-new Defibrillator to an area that needs it most.

Every year 30,000 people experience cardiac arrest outside of a hospital setting. Only 10% of them survive.

The foundation was set-up by the family of Sam Polledri, who died suddenly from cardiac arrest in 2022 at just 24 years old. The aim of the foundation, in partnership with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, is giving others better access to these lifesaving machines.
Through the annual charity ball, KW Bell group has purchased one of these defibrillators, and we need your help to determine where it can be most accessible.

We’re inviting sports clubs, community groups and local organisations to apply for installation of the device where there is regular footfall and accessibility to the public.

🏆 We're incredibly proud to announce that Bell Homes' Netherend development has been awarded Highly Commended at the LABC The Bricks Awards 2026!

The Bricks Awards recognise excellence in site management, celebrating builders, developers and site managers who consistently deliver outstanding quality homes. Receiving this recognition is a fantastic achievement and reflects the high standards.

A special congratulations goes to Terrie, our Site Manager, whose leadership on site has been instrumental in achieving this award, and Andy, our Build Manager, whose guidance and commitment to quality have helped make this success possible.

👷‍♀️ K W Bell Group Work Experience Week 2026 🏗️

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a fantastic group of students to K W Bell Group for our annual Work Experience Week.

Throughout the week, students explored the wide range of careers available within the construction industry, spending time with departments across the business, visiting live construction sites and gaining hands on experience with our teams.

To measure the impact of the programme, students completed surveys at the beginning and end of the week, assessing their knowledge of the industry and confidence in pursuing a career in construction. We're delighted to say we saw an increase across every area, showing just how much they had learned during the week.

One of the biggest compliments we received? Several students asked if they could come back for a second week! 💙

A huge thank you to every member of staff who gave up their time to share their knowledge, mentor our students and make the week such a success. We couldn't have done it without you.

We're proud to play a part in inspiring the next generation and can't wait to welcome another group next year.
