Heritage Lime has been producing lime based products and expert stonemasonry since 1996.

Many builders today are rediscovering the benefits of using lime in construction and are looking to relearn the skills to use lime proficiently. We offer a professional consultancy service that draws on almost 20 years’ experience working with lime-based products.

A perfect setting for our recent Pointing courses!

These walls - once pig pens at the beautiful Buscot and Coleshill Estates - have allowed us to demonstrate the key techniques of pointing with lime in a real-life setting.

And we’ve even managed to spruce the place up a little, if we do say so ourselves!

Our Pointing and our Conservation Stone Repairs course have both been housed at the amazing Buscot and Coleshill Estates, a beautiful National Trust site which was once a Victorian hobby farm.

Thanks so much to the wonderful National Trust team who have allowed us to teach at their Heritage and Rural Skills Centre!

Some beautiful work that we've carried out recently here in Cirencester ✨

Our team rebuilt this property's apex, as well as replacing its oak lintels and stone sills, to restore its features to their former glory.

Then to give it this incredible finish, we removed all the previous use of harmful cement and replaced it with Heritage Lime mortar, before finally lime washing the façade with a stunning traditional yellow ochre.

- And all finished off with a lovely bit of sun of course! ☀

Another historic building restored and maintained with care by our incredible Cotwold team.
