Here’s the finished job from one of our apprentices, a full new boiler installation completed with care and attention to detail.

From working through the system conversion to understanding the S-Plan setup, this project has been a great example of hands-on learning in action. The old Potterton Kingfisher RS50 has now been successfully upgraded to a modern Worcester Greenstar 15Ri system.

A solid install, a clean finish, and a great step forward in developing real on-the-job confidence and technical skill.

Investing in apprentices means investing in the future of our industry.

Here, one of our fantastic apprentices is gaining hands-on experience replacing an old Potterton Kingfisher RS50 boiler with a new Worcester Greenstar 15Ri, while learning how to convert an older heating system into a modern S-Plan configuration.

There’s no substitute for real-world experience, and we’re proud to help develop the next generation of heating engineers by giving them the opportunity to learn on live projects alongside our experienced team.

Recently we’ve been up in the scissor lift replacing some high-level lighting for Sparesbase one of our suppliers. Safe to say, it’s not one for the faint-hearted working at these heights!

It was also a great opportunity for some apprentices to get valuable evidence for their portfolios and gain hands-on experience on a live commercial project.

We might be known for working on beautiful Cotswold homes, but we also carry out work on commercial properties too, from lighting upgrades to larger electrical projects.

On this new heating installation, we didn’t just focus on getting the system in, we focused on doing it properly from the start.

That includes carefully insulating pipework where it passes through joists, helping to prevent unwanted noise when the heating is running. Because we all know how frustrating it can be to hear ticking, creaking, or expansion noises once everything is finished… especially when you’re trying to relax at home.

These small, behind-the-scenes details are what make a system feel properly finished, not just installed.

New home. New heating system.

We’ve just started work on this property for a family who have recently moved into their new home, installing a full new radiator and heating system.

One of the things we take real pride in is the care we bring to every home we work in. That means taking the time to do things properly, including carefully lifting floorboards so new pipework can be installed neatly, safely, and with minimal disruption to the property.
