My Mam always said children were sent for a reason and I think I know yours - to fill our lives with attitude, keep us on our toes and give us daily high blood pressure 😂

But apart from that, you have brought so much joy into our lives and we all adore you (maybe not-so-much Robbie) 💞

We are so unbelievably proud of Robbie 💞

To watch your firstborn go through so much worry, self-doubt and feeling worthless while juggling the pressure of getting good A-Level result’s is heartbreaking as a parent. Throw in a good bit of bad luck, health worries & grief - I thought we’d be heading for a complete meltdown 🤯

We haven’t - he hasn’t - let that define his future. I’ve never seen anyone work as hard as he has this last six months. He’s dug deeper than he’s ever had to, pushed himself harder and made very very grown-up decisions regarding his social life…….and I could burst with pride 💞

Today he accepted his Degree Apprenticeship after being accepted for (and declining) another two 🎓

I hope you understand now why your Dad and me never gave up on you…..we knew you had it in you, you just needed a little help to ease it out 🫶🏼
