Continuing the Move On Cumbria Project. Starting the 7th property this year converting houses into two one bedroom flats. Stripped back to bare shell and upgraded with new layout to current building regulations. Just started the framing out to straighten the existing walls.

It's no longer the case of just plaster boarding and skimming walls especially when dividing properties into multi occupancy dwellings. Certain criteria need to be met regarding Acoustics and Fire Containment as well as keeping Thermal U-Values up to code.

We use various systems combining high performance boards and insulation to make sure all the demands are met. If you have a new build project or need to upgrade an existing building give us a call or drop a PM with your requirements. We will have a fully certified system that will do the job.

Following on from the Workington Aldi fit-out earlier in the year Penrith Aldi completed on time. It was touch and go with the current supply chain problems obtaining materials, all the blockwork was changed to stud partitions due to cement shortages without adding any extra time to our programme but as always we get there in the end.

Aldi purchased the adjoining property to create a larger store creating more retail floor space and a bigger warehouse. Full strip out for us back to empty shell with new suspended ceilings, partitions, taping & jointing, plastering and fire protection.
