WE'RE HIRING | Framework Project Coordinator

As NHU continues to grow, we're looking for a Framework Project Coordinator to join our expanding team.

This is a full-time salaried position with flexible working, including the opportunity to work from home.

You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of utility framework projects by working closely with our Operations and Senior Management Team.

Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Programme and resource planning
✅ Applications for payment and invoice processing
✅ Payment tracking and supplier administration
✅ Client communication and document control
✅ Procurement support
✅ Meeting coordination, agendas and minutes
✅ KPI reporting and monthly forecasting
✅ Supporting live project delivery across frameworks

We're looking for someone who has:
✔ Strong organisational and communication skills
✔ Excellent Microsoft Excel and Office knowledge
✔ High attention to detail
✔ The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
✔ A professional, proactive and reliable approach

Previous construction or utilities administration experience is essential.

✔ Strong work ethic, reliability and commitment to safe working
✔ A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a growing team

📍 Our yard is based in Birstall, Leeds.

Applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our depot. If you are based outside this area, please do not apply, as these positions are not suitable for long-distance commuting or relocation.

We are looking for experienced LV & HV installation gangs to support ongoing utility projects across the UK.

Requirements:
* Experience in LV and HV trenching & ducting installation
* Experience in cable pulling operations
* NRSWA accredited operatives (required)
* SHEA Power (required)
* CPCS/NPORS plant operators (required) 360 Excavator & Dumper
* Winch operator (desirable)
* Manual Handling, First Aid, Abrasive Wheels (advantageous)
* Experience working to utility standards (UKPN, NPG, ENW, SPEN etc.)
* Full clean UK driving licence

Works Include:
* HV & LV cable installations
* Utility ducting and draw pits
* Service connections and network reinforcement projects

One of the teams are making great progress in Liverpool. Digging for the HV and LV runs into site.

NHU again offering a full turnkey complete civils solution.

On this project we are digging, duct laying, cable pulling and reinstating the work.
This particular job has been tricky as we had to do a deep excavation either side of a gas main to ensure we had the adequate depth for the HV run.

Brilliant job by the team. This is only the first of these phases on the job.

We are pleased to announce that NHU are now LRQA NERS accredited. The hard work on site and in the background has really paid off.

This allows us to support Independent Connection Provider (ICPs) across network works.

Our scopes include:
- Cable Laying (LV, 11kV, 20kV)
- Civils Works
- Reinstatement Inclusive

As always we are looking to have positive conversations and build relationships for business who require experience civils support on network projects.
