🏠 HALLWAY, LANDING & STAIRS — TRANSFORMATION COMPLETE! 🎨

Another high-quality finish by S H Painting & Decorating.

This hallway, landing and staircase required a serious amount of preparation cracks in the celling,screws popping through, Along with the previous decorating works being done to a poor quality

The walls had been left with thick paint, heavy brush marks and numerous imperfections, while the woodwork had drips and had discoloured due to the oil based satin previously applied

🔨 PREPARATION
• All walls and ceilings thoroughly sanded using 240-grit pads on the Mirka dustless sanding system
•scrim tape applied to all the cracks before filling to insure and prevent the smooth surface cracking again
• Bannister and handrail hand sanded
• All Surfaces prepared to create a smooth, sound base before applying the finish

🎨 FINISHING
• ceilings finished in Macphersons Eclipse durable paint
• walls finished in the Colour: Farrow & Ball Stony Ground, specially mixed in Macphersons durable Matt
• All skirting boards and door frames finished in Crown Fastflow Brilliant White
• Bannister finished in Crown Fastflow Brilliant White
• Handrail finished in Crown Fastflow mixed to Stony Ground

The end result is a clean, smooth and completely transformed hallway, landing and staircase.

This job is a perfect example of why preparation is so important.

Anyone can put paint on a wall — but achieving a professional finish starts long before the first coat of paint goes on.
