Something new has landed with the Tesla Powerwall 3, and it is worth a proper look.

Tesla Home is a smart energy management system that now comes built into every Powerwall 3 as standard. No extra hardware, nothing bolted on afterwards. It quietly connects your solar panels, your battery and your Tesla Wall Connector so they work together rather than in isolation.

The clever bit is the software underneath. It looks at how much solar your roof is likely to make, how much energy your home is likely to use and what your tariff is doing, then works out the smartest place to draw power from. Charge the battery when rates are low, lean on stored or solar energy when rates are high, all on its own.

You can see exactly what it is doing at any time in the Tesla app. And paired with the Tesla Backup Gateway, your Powerwall 3 can keep the lights on during a power cut.

As a Tesla Certified Installer we fit these with our own crews, never subcontractors. Tesla takes care of the clever software. We make sure the hardware underneath is fitted properly first time.

The ECO4 scheme has closed. Some of the problems it left behind have not.
