It was the last working day for many, but team Harrisons Engineering pulled out all the stops to plant in excess of 300 trees today. 🌳

It was a challenge to complete it in the short timescale but we did it! 😁🌳

Work continues on the new bridge installation at Horton-in-Ribblesdale.

All teams are working collectively to complete the footbridge sympathetic to the style of the traditional railway station.

Description:
Harrisons Engineering (Lancashire) Ltd. is a growing business specialised in Project Design & Management, Fabrication & Welding, and Installation & Maintenance.
Due to company growth, the acquisition of additional companies and increased customer demand, we are looking to recruit with an immediate start experienced, efficient, and skilled fabricator/welders at our Whalley/Barnoldswick & Great Harwood Sites producing a range of products including large steel fabrication for several industry leading clients.
Necessary Skills/Qualifications:
• Fabrication/MIG Welding/TIG Welders
Advantageous Skills/Qualifications:
• CSCS/CPCS/ICATS/IPAF/PASMA/PTS
Responsibilities:
• Carrying out gas metal arc welding (MAG), to manufacture items and components.
• Cutting materials into the required shapes, checking dimensions and thicknesses.
• Welding or joining metal and other materials up to 100mm thick into a wide range of structures.
• Following engineering plans, drawings, and instructions.
• Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment.
• Dismantling metal structures.
• Cleaning tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Wearing safety clothing and always using protective equipment
• Working on a construction site or in a workshop.

Woodland planting is being carried out along the banks of the river Calder by the team at Harrisons Engineering Lancashire Ltd.

Creating new habitat and capturing carbon whilst helping to slow the flow of rainwater into the river.
