🔥 Day 3 on the Coalville HMO project — another solid shift in the bag.
All the new FD30s fire doors are now hung and swinging perfectly 🚪💨. Every door is latched, aligned, and operating smoothly, exactly how they should be.
We’ve also fitted all the door closers and intumescent/smoke strips, keeping everything fully compliant and finished to a high standard 🔥✔️. The place is really starting to take shape now, and each room is looking sharper by the hour.
Another productive day, another step closer to handing over a safe, tidy, and upgraded property 💪

🔥 Day 2 on the Coalville HMO project and we’re cracking on nicely. All the old door frames are now out 🪚, and every new frame is fitted in place 🔧. We’ve been plastering and making good around the frames throughout the day 🧱, and the finish is already looking spot‑on 👌
We also had Karl from TM Plastering & Services on site with us today 🤝 — top work as always and great to have him involved in the job.
We’re almost ready for the new fire doors to go in 🚪🔥 — keeping everything compliant, tidy, and up to the DC Lewis standard from start to finish.

✨🚧 FINAL RESULT COMPLETE! 🚧✨ The Disney Pixar Wembley washrooms are officially finished — built from the ground up.. Solid structure, smooth finishes, and every unit fitted to perfection.

⏪🎬 Throwback to 4 Weeks of Feeling Like We Were in a Pixar Movie at Wembley! 🎬⏪
Four weeks ago, the DC Lewis Property Services crew wrapped up one of our most animated projects yet — building brand‑new washrooms inside Disney Pixar, Wembley. And trust us… if there was ever a job that felt like stepping into a film set, this was it.

Here’s what the team built (no CGI needed):
🛠️ Full washroom builds from scratch
🛠️ Set‑out and installed all metal framework
🛠️ Built the full metal structure
🛠️ Double plasterboarded both sides
🛠️ Taped, skimmed, and finished smoother than a Pixar character’s face
🛠️ Fitted all IPS units, wash basins, toilets, and the disabled toilet

And the cast of legends who made it happen:
⭐ Daniel Lewis – the Woody of the crew, keeping everyone in line with “There’s a job to do!” energy
⭐ Callum Fox – our very own Buzz Lightyear, powered by tea and going to infinity and beyond with the graft.
⭐ Karl Spence (TM Plastering ) – smoother than Lightning McQueen saying “Ka‑chow!”
⭐ Dave (Plumber) – the best plumber in the business, talking to pipes like they’re characters from Inside Out.
Four weeks of graft, banter, and building magic behind the scenes. No talking toys, no monsters in the cupboards… just a top team doing top work in a place full of creativity.

We’re out in Coalville today kicking off a fresh job for a local HMO — a full rip‑out and replacement of 6 fire doors.
