🚧 A new project is underway in East Sussex! 🏡
This precarious-looking house had reached the end of its life, and our team was ready to begin the transformation.

Our first priority was carrying out bat mitigation, ensuring any bats present were safely relocated before works commenced. The roof tiles were then carefully removed by hand, exposing the timber structure ready for demolition.

The demolition itself was completed with sustainability in mind, with the timber frame systematically dismantled and materials separated for recycling wherever possible.

As part of the site setup, we also constructed a protected access driveway using geotextile and protective layers to safeguard the surrounding mature tree root systems throughout the project.
This is just the beginning!

Next, we'll be installing a prefabricated basement ready to support another stunning Huf Haus.

Precision is everything when preparing the foundations for a prefabricated Huf Haus. Before the timber frame can be installed, the reinforced concrete slab must be formed and poured to exceptionally tight tolerances, ensuring a perfectly level base .

Our scope also included the construction of hard landscape concrete slabs, providing durable foundations for external terraces, pathways, and outdoor living areas. Careful setting out, reinforcement installation, formwork, and quality-controlled concrete placement ensure a long-lasting finish that integrates seamlessly with the architectural design.

From excavation and sub-base preparation through to reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, and curing, every stage is completed with accuracy and attention to detail, delivering the high standards required for our clients.
