Are your windows under 20 years old and the frames look like this?

As we are getting into the colder months, your windows face harsh conditions and are more susceptible to leaking/mould growth without proper care.

We recently completed a roof window maintenance day at a property in Hertfordshire. The day consisted of servicing and minor repairs to some VELUX units.

One window in particular was over a stairwell and inaccessible with our standard equipment so we brought Bruce along! You may remember Bruce from a previous post. He is very good at getting into awkward external spaces. No hire of scaffold needed, quick, easy and takes up little space compared to other access equipment!

Another NON VELUX replacement job on an interlocking tile roof.

We used ELX kits to ensure the height of the window remains the same and to close any gaps a new flashing may cause, especially as these are non VELUX being replaced with VELUX roof windows this is important to do.
