This weeks shower room refresh- same colours, just 15 years apart.

Lots of cracks to sort, so it was definitely due a facelift.

Everything apart from the door, prepped and painted, Dulux Natural Calico, with classic white satin on the window and door frame.

Latest refinish complete and ready for its new home!

Oak veneer side board.

SIZE- 49cm deep, 124cm wide, 92cm high.

Outside striped/sanded, then colour washed and top coated with Osmo top oil.

Inside sanded, shellac primed the painted with Tikkurilla furniture paint- colour matched to Farrow and Ball ‘Stiffkey Blue’ inside the cupboards and ‘Stirabout’ in the draws and doors.

All furniture hardware cleaned/primed and sprayed to a gun metal finish. Wallpapered bases to complete the look.

****UPDATE- ITEM NOW SOLD****

Latest upcycle complete 🙂.

A vintage leather top kneehole desk in need of a little t l c . The veneer was a bit past its best in areas and most k***s were damaged or broken completely. I didn’t particularly want to paint this piece, unfortunately veneer restoration isn’t something I have much experience in!

Now it’s 2 bedside tables and ready for their new home.

Primed and painted in a classic warm neutral - Tikkurilla Everal Aqua, colour matched to Farrow and Ball ‘Stirabout’. Repurposed pallet wood tops, dark stained and protected with ‘Rocktop’ and new cup handles.

This weeks furniture flip. As much as the k***s on this chest of drawers made me chuckle, they just had to go 😂.

Sanded, primed and painted in Tikkurila Helmi 10 colour matched to Farrow and Ball ‘Stiffkey Blue.’

A really lovely space with a fantastic view- just a shame the dull January light doesn’t quite let the photos do it justice.

A recent up-cycle project, when 1 became 2.

An unloved dressing table/ desk, but still a solid item of furniture. Top removed and made into bedside tables.

Finished using bobble trim and re purposed pallets. Ready to restart its life as 2 bedside tables.
