Best reviewed place in the area for a good reason - we booked in for a boiler service, Elementis communicated well with us both at the time of booking and on the day to ensure he had the right address down (as there's an identical road name in the next town over).

Grant arrived early after checking with us that morning, service was completed quickly and tidily, and confirmation / certificate sent straight away. Can't fault them and will definitely use for our services going forward as well.

We charge a flat rate of £92 plus vat to diagnose a fault.

If we can repair it without parts we will but if parts are required a quote will be given that includes the diagnostics fee.

A diagnostics fee is payable regardless. We’ve had it where we’ve spent time diagnosing a fault for the customer to then call around getting quotes and we don’t get paid for our time and expertise in diagnosing the fault.

I recently asked some of my customers what matters most when choosing a tradesperson.

By a long way, the top answer was simple: someone who actually turns up when they say they will.

Second was quality of work — no one wants to pay for a job and then have to bring someone else in to fix it.

And third was being reasonably priced. From my own experience, cheap doesn’t always mean better value in the long run.

At Elementis, we focus on all three. We turn up when we say we will, and we’ve built an online booking system that limits how many jobs we take on each day (including travel time) so we never overbook. That came from learning the hard way back when I used a paper diary and tried to fit too much in.

We take pride in doing a proper job — our 400+ five-star reviews reflect that — and we price our work fairly. When we give a quote, it’s very rare there are any extras, and if something does come up, it’s always discussed with you first.

Another happy customer..

Grant at Elementis fitted our combi boiler last year and we were extremely happy with the standard of the work carried out. Grant was helpful and efficient. We have recently had Grant over to service the boiler and he did a very thorough job and was very prompt.

Has anyone considered or successfully dropped everything including installations to just focus on service and/or boiler repairs?

My back is in bits and I struggle to do installations even with help with lifting the boiler etc.

Would be much easier to advertise just servicing etc and pretty stress free.

If boiler leads do come in you could sell them to other engineers.

Got me thinking!
