We recently finished this sandstone patio using genuine “old school” reclaimed flagstones, sourced by our client from a local reclamation yard. Our client loved the traditional look of York stone but wanted to achieve a similar aesthetic while keeping within budget.

Safe to say they don’t make them like this anymore — some of these slabs were thick enough to make us question our career choices, and heavy enough to put the gym membership on hold for a week! 💪😂

The team extended our client’s patio using 450mm buff riven slabs, creating a larger and more practical outdoor space ready to enjoy this summer ☀️

We also installed a new stone pathway and seating area using 10mm decorative stone, all finished with steel Corten edging to give a rustic, traditional look that really ties the garden together 👍🏼
