It’s been a busy week as usual.
Yesterday was spent replacing a fence. Normally a simple task. However, the back of this property was bordered by huge Laylandii trees so there were huge roots, you guessed it, exactly where I wanted to install 4” posts.
Despite the roots, the sloping ground, and an old hidden disused collapsed drain exactly where I wanted to put the last post, I got the job done. 👍🏻

This morning has been spent preparing exterior surfaces for painting.
Dirt and fungus cleaned off with my professional industrial pressure washer, then treated with a fungicide.

This morning was spent renovating a front door aluminium awning.

The old paint (at least three layers on top of a clear lacquer) had delaminated and was flaking off.

All paint removed and taken back to bare aluminium before painting to a smooth even finish with Hammerite Ultima smooth white.

Putting in the preparation before painting is crucial to ensure years of protection.

Full lounge makeover completed to a very high standard using Farrow & Ball All White 2005 Estate Emulsion, and Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt Rolled Oats for the feature wall. Ceiling painted with Dulux Trade Pure Brilliant White Vinyl Matt Emulsion and all topped off with mirror shine gloss work.

Today’s task…. Day one of interior painting of a living room including ceiling, walls, skirts, doors and door frames. 👍🏻
