From former guesthouse to high-spec family home.

This beautiful three-storey Victorian property in Lexden recently underwent a complete transformation through our pre-construction and construction process.

Working with the client from the outset, we developed the internal layouts, refined the design and delivered a full refurbishment including new mechanical and electrical installations, glazing, structural alterations, restoration, bespoke interiors, premium finishes and external works.

Starting with the ground floor, swipe through to see the transformation.

To close off our Dorset House series, we’re showcasing this beautiful private courtyard, transformed from what was once an unused part of the property which can be seen later in the image carousel.

The surrounding areas were carefully restored, with the landscaping completed by Planet 14

One of the more significant structural elements of the project was the introduction of a new cellar stairwell, creating better access to the cellar whilst remaining in keeping with the original home features.

The newest addition to Dorset House looks as though it has always been there.

Designed to complement the original period property, this contemporary garden room extension creates a seamless connection between home and garden - flooding the space with natural light and transforming the way the house is lived in.

But it’s the before photos that tell the real story...

Swipe through to see just how far this project has come. It’s almost impossible to believe it’s the same house.

From restoring the original beauty of the property to creating a timeless extension and beautifully landscaped gardens, every detail has been carefully considered to ensure old and new sit effortlessly together.

A transformation that feels both striking and completely at home.
