A recent outdoor lighting job, in conjunction with installing 3 EV points for a customer in Colchester. All tied in with solar panels, 3 large battery packs, giving the customer a greatly reduced electricity bill. Years of big savings

That's it, finally finished for Christmas . A few things to finish off in the new year. This has been a challenging , but very rewarding job recently. Converting a thatched barn into a pub in a customer's garden .

Carrying out the finishing touches to the first 2 flats in a development of 5 new build flats we've been doing for a customer. A long project that's taken 18 months to get to this point. Mainly due to the owner doing almost all of his own construction in the evenings and weekends.

Complete strip out and rewire of a small warehouse in Basildon, after a fire destroyed most of it a few months ago.
New distribution board, galvanised trunking, conduit drops and all sockets and lights , including emergency lighting .

Delicate hands needed today. Buster and punch brushed gold accessories going on at a new kitchen installation we've been doing. At £60 a socket, I might need to wear cotton gloves

Despite my best efforts, customers are still using these 2 and 3 way adapters. This particular one was used to power up an electric heater. As the second photo shows, the heater plug also became over heated. To make matters worse, the fuseboard at the property is an old style with rewritable fuses, with no RCD protection in place. This could very easily have been an electrical fire.
If you don't have enough sockets, please use a short trailing extension lead, which puts no physical weight on the connection
