Elvanite Limited making Clacton Pier safe after the partial collapse.
We are proud of everyone from Elvanite Limited who played a part in making Clacton Pier safe before Storm Dennis arrived.
On Friday we were on site within three hours and by 10.30pm the section had been made safe and around 50 per cent of the rubble had been collected.
9.30am on Saturday the operation had begun again on the next low tide.
Elvanite Limited are continuing to work with Clacton Pier on the clear up operation.

Elvanite Limited were unexpectedly busy over the weekend! Elvanite Limited were called soon after the Clacton Pier collapse to assist with making safe. Within a few hours a team had mobilised headed up by Sean Dovey to attend Clacton. Working through the night the Pier was made safe and cleared the beach of debris. Thanks to Cadman Plant for moving the plant and equipment so quickly.
Well done to everyone involved for their hardwork.
