Our Story

We are a passionate practice specialising in architecture, urban design and town planning.

A D P was first formed in 1976 as an Architect’s practice and in the 1990s added Town Planning to its services to create a multi-disciplinary approach to development. Our integrated architecture, urban design and town planning service ensures that from the outset, the planning and design strategy are aligned in a holistic manner. Through this approach, we have established a reputation for delivering high-quality places and buildings of varying scale, from large scale urban extensions to bespoke individual schemes.

At A D P, our ethos and business approach has centred on the delivery of good design in the built environment. We believe that good design is a means of achieving a wide range of social, economic and environmental goals, making places that will be successful and sustainable. At one end of the scale, the sense of place can be appreciated through the sensitive siting and design of household spaces that makes a house, a home. At the other end of the scale, we explore forms of sustainable development that creates a harmonious environment, successful neighbourhoods and activates a strong sense of community.
