We’re finishing up the week on-site getting this underfloor heating system fully prepped and laid out. There is nothing quite like a precision-balanced floor system to completely change how a home feels—especially when paired with modern, high-efficiency tech. No more cold feet on a winter morning.

A lot of people think plumbing and heating is just about what happens at floor level, but our commercial projects require a completely different scale of planning.

Harvey and the team have been up on the scaffolding over in Ipswich this week, getting the primary high-level bracketry and service containment completely locked down.

Before a single main heating pipe or gas line can be run across a commercial site like this, the structural infrastructure has to be flawless. We’ve been installing heavy-duty unistrut frameworks and rubber-lined pipe clamps suspended directly from the steel roof deck. It’s meticulous, high-level work that requires absolute accuracy to ensure the long-term integrity of the building's main services.

When you operate to a "Precision First" mantra, even the brackets you’ll never see from the ground are installed to a millimetre-perfect standard.

We’ve had our apprentice, Charlie, out in Ipswich getting stuck into the details today. He’s been working on a controls upgrade, swapping out an old room thermostat and a motorised valve.

These might seem like small components, but they are the "brains" of the system. If that valve doesn't move, the heat doesn't flow—simple as that. Watching Charlie work through the wiring and the mechanical install with such precision is exactly what we like to see.

We’ve just finished this installation in Stanway, and it’s a great example of how choosing a complimentary palette can completely transform a space.

Instead of a sharp contrast, we’ve used very similar tones for both the floor and wall tiles. This creates a soft, continuous look that makes the room feel incredibly bright and open.

To keep the finish sharp, we’ve pulled everything together with consistent chrome and silver accents. The taps, shower head, and towel rail are all perfectly matched by the silver edging trim on the tiling. It’s those subtle, matching details that really elevate the final result.

We’ve been out in Sudbury today, and this magnetic rod shows exactly why this home’s heating was struggling.
