Poor Ole Hetty had her work cut out at Speech House today.
I’m sure we all have a pyromaniac lurking inside but please fight the urge to throw stuff in the fires 😅 makes Hettys job very difficult!

Anyways….. serviced and gas tested for another winter

What is it the advert says……. Thank Worcester for that 🫣😅
Emergency call out to this one, admittedly I haven’t been here before but this shouldn’t be happening at a couple of years old. Blocked solid

Some of you may or may not have noticed the subtle name change, nope not my married name! The business name!

I’ve now changed to AB Heating and Plumbing Services.
When I first started my self employment journey I was purely heating and gas focused but over the years i have expanded into plumbing, some of my customers don’t realise this though so I thought it would be appropriate to update a little!
Don’t get me wrong I don’t do everything and will always say if I don’t, but here’s just a short list of some of the plumbing I do:

Taps
Boiling water taps
Toilets
Toilet flushes
Waste pipes, traps and associated pipework
Vanity units
Basins
Showers
Filters

Also while I’m updating things, the littlest human in the house has now (finally) started school which means I now work every Friday and the odd weekend here and there 🙌

Thanks everyone for the continued support ❤️

Used to see these all the time at British Gas, sadly it’s day has come, still working but ready for an upgrade before winter.
Customer likes a bath and had unvented hot water so we stuck to a nice little Baxi heat only boiler with 7 year warranty, filter, flush, pumped condensate and new Drayton time control 👌

🤩🤩🤩

The van is finally fixed!

Massive shout out to Tim and Shirley at Fcbc “Your Choice” car body repairs. Damage Undone - they have done a fantastic job of repairing my van and also fitting the rear step I found on eBay. It looks better than it did before!

These guys really do go the extra mile for their customers and saved me the hassle of having the van written off.

It’s appreciated so much ❤️

Cylinder change today, pipework upgrade, air separator cut out and replaced with standard close coupling, new shut off valves and bypass.
The last tank was replaced nearly 20 years ago, the boiler is now 38 years old….. let’s see what age this cylinder see’s the boiler to 😳😳
Also lovely bitta cake and coffee 👌

Big job today, take a wall down to investigate why its wet, removed the old shower pipework that was poking through the wall as well as the old radiator and associated pipework and installed a new radiator and pipework onto the solid wall. The far side stone wall was soaking and turned out to be a shower leaking into a void which was an absolute plumbers nightmare, but look at those old stairs, must be hundreds of years old!!

New rad, new pipework to go with the new kitchen 👌

Loft hatch repair today because I struggle to say no to helping people out, especially my elderly more vulnerable customers who just want the job done and not sold a whole new loft hatch! Trim refitted and screwed into the joist, filled, primed and ready to paint when dry 👍🏼
