MP Electrical Contractors UK Ltd, based in Coleford, Gloucestershire, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Electrical Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in the electrical industry with a reputable, hands-on company working across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.

About the Role

As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced electricians, gaining practical, on-site experience while studying towards industry-recognised qualifications. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in real-world electrical projects from day one.

What You’ll Do
• Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
• Learn how to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Support qualified electricians on a variety of jobs and tasks
• Develop a strong understanding of electrical safety procedures
• Attend college/training provider as part of the apprenticeship programme

What We’re Looking For
• A genuine interest in becoming a qualified electrician
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English Grade 4/C or above
• Must be reliable, punctual, and eager to work as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence or working towards it.
• Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Coleford, Gloucestershire

Delighted to have been involved with this community project, well done Jack at The Tufthorn Inn for all your dedication and hard work.

⚠️ New community defibrillator ⚠️

Each year The Tufthorn Inn and customers raise money for a selected charity through a number of different activities.

In 2019 we decided to fundraise to purchase a community defibrillator in the village of Milkwall, as we thought it would be beneficial for local businesses and residents to have 24-hour access to one.

It’s been a long time coming, but with help from Coleford Town Council and installation from MP Electrical Contractors Ltd we are pleased to announce that it is now live!

The unit can be found on the wall outside the pub.

Many thanks to all those involved in making this happen.
