Another recent project completed ✔️

For this job in Clearwell, I fitted underlay along with a Dunwich Blond & Light Brown Patchwork mixed wood-effect structured laminate across two rooms, as chosen by the client.

The client preferred not to remove the existing skirting boards, so I installed beading to neatly cover the expansion gaps while maintaining a clean, finished look.

A great transformation that adds both warmth and character to the space.

Another door project wrapped up recently 👌

This one involved fitting 5 oak veneer doors, all finished off with sleek black door furniture to give a clean, modern look throughout. The contrast between the natural oak and the black ironmongery really makes each door stand out without being over the top.

One small challenge on this job was the existing door linings, one side had a gap that was far too big to leave. To get the finish up to standard, I capped it with 6mm MDF, which allowed me to bring everything back flush and create a much cleaner, more professional look and ready to be painted by the client.

It’s always the finer details that make the difference on jobs like this. Taking the extra time to sort issues properly rather than just working around them ensures the final result not only looks right but lasts.

Another tidy install and a happy client 👍

Another full home transformation completed by A.M.P Carpentry

This project involved a full supply and fit across both downstairs and upstairs, delivering a clean, modern finish with high-quality materials throughout.

• Engineered oak flooring fitted across the entire property
• Oak veneer internal doors installed for a consistent, premium look
• Bespoke alcove units made and fitted, complete with ribbed wall panel detailing between shelving
• Custom-built storage unit at the top of the stairs, finished with a solid oak top
• All new skirting and architrave fitted throughout
• Staircase installation completed
• Made-to-measure wardrobes and drawer units fitted in the bedroom space

One of my favourite projects of 2025

I was asked to transform an old, tired kitchen that had seen better days into something modern, clean, and built for everyday living. The original layout was dated and lacked storage, and the appliances were starting to show their age, so it was time for a full refresh.

I stripped everything back to the bones and installed a brand-new handleless kitchen with a sleek, modern finish. Integrated appliances were added throughout to keep everything streamlined and clutter-free, giving the customer much more usable space and a really premium feel. The end result completely changed the look and functionality of the room, brighter, cleaner lines and a layout that finally works for how the family uses the kitchen day-to-day.

These are the transformations I love, taking something old and giving it a second life with quality materials and attention to detail.

Broadwell Project Update

Job: Oak Flooring & Bespoke Media Wall

Just wrapped up another great job in Broadwell!
The client wanted to refresh their study space with beautiful oak flooring and a custom-built media wall packed with storage. The media wall had been crafted ready for the client to paint, giving them the freedom to match it perfectly to their home.

I will be heading back soon to fit the skirting, build a bespoke desk with additional storage units, and I can’t wait to see the full transformation come together.

On this project, it was something I truly loved doing, but to be honest, it was also quite emotional at times.

My niece sadly lost her life to depression, and I was asked to create a rustic, bold sleeper style memorial bench for her, to be placed at her old school.

The bench features words written by her father and butterflies, all routed freehand.
