As it’s the last day of 2024 an the weather is grim out there. I thought I’d share one last project from earlier this year.

Job consisted of full reroof an three flat roofs all done in a one piece epdm rubber cover on fresh 18mm osb boards,with new tapered firrings to one roof as roof was holding water.
Then main roof slated back up ,new lead work velux and gutters.

No matter how small or large any project your thinking of forward planning is always a good idea 👍🏻

A little something different than normal for me renovating this property!

But none the less got the job done and more than happy with the end results, pictures probably don’t do them justice of just how much graft went into this job.

Property consisted of four floors basement
Ground floor
First Floor
Attic so 3 staircases to climb 😮‍💨

Knocked back to bare brick throughout an got the full works 👌🏻

And with help from some of the best tradesmen around . So if you were involved a massive thank you 😊

A recent project carried out that consisted of transforming this slate pitched roof in to a balcony. New opening created for bi folding doors an glass balcony installed, all work carried out under local building control who was more than happy with job an signed off. Now all is required is some well over due sunshine for the home owners to enjoy there new out door area.

Recent job carried out in trawden on a conservatory that the homeowner said was unbearable in summer from heat an unbearable from cold in winter. Theses was all the rage about 20 years ago ,where you didn’t need planning or building regulations!
This job consisted of taking it down internally to under concrete slab so up to date insulationcould be installed. Externally taken down to windowsill height to extend stonework to take lintels an steel to form the window an door opening’s. Solid roof installed with roof lantern then using a one piece epdm rubber cover.
An now a all year round useable room,an wot a finishing touch that’s made to the home!
All work inspected by local building control an all up to date insulation installed to floor walls an ceiling to building regulations.

Another garden transformation completed.
This job consisted of full excavation land drains installed wrapped in terram.
Retaining wall built in 140mm tumbled random lengths natural stone with backing block topped off with a sawn cut natural stone copping! Kandle Grey Indian paving with a black limestone edging all pointed up with dark grey joint it resin. Natural turf laid on fresh rolled topsoil. Neighbouring fences extended!
Wot a difference this new layout is going to make for homeowners to enjoy once the sunshine makes an appearance!
Boy I’ve had every bit of weather on this job apart from sunshine.

Old conservatory taken down new foundations dug inspected by local building Control then concrete poured.
An within a blink of an eye roof’s on internal walls down an steel’s in ! Then over to A. Lawson Joiner & Kitchen Fitter to work his magic an hey presto job completed all to price an timescale just how we roll 😊

This project was dug out courtesy of Forest Macadam an foundations laid ready for me to conduct work on 29 m2 of random stone walling with sawn cut copping supplied by Steptoe's Yard Ltd .
Drainage installed an all stoned up ready for flagging in blue/ Grey Indian flags with black limestone set borders all pointed up in joint it resin supplied by Bridge Street Stone Ltd
All other Materials for project supplied by Howarth Timber Burnley branch .

An this project is more than ready for a bit of well needed sunshine 😎
