🏗️ Project Update: Shaping the future of emergency care in North Wales. We’re proud to share a sneak peek at our current civil engineering project in Bangor, Gwynedd: the construction of the brand-new dual helipads at Ysbyty Gwynedd. This vital infrastructure upgrade will allow both the Wales Air Ambulance and HM Coastguard Search and Rescue helicopters to land simultaneously, significantly improving emergency response times when every second counts. Check out the video below to see how our teams are transforming the site, from extensive earthworks and re-grading the landscape to getting the hard standings ready. ⚠️ It’s only been 765 days since our last post! 😅 At Jennings, as part of our Active Travel Route through RSPB Conwy, we are having a new bridge transported from Doncaster!
Whilst this escorted abnormal load is in transit it will incur a 40mph speed limit from the Welsh border along the A*5 to Junction 18 (Llandudno Junction) at around 11:00am 17/04/2026.
Whilst we apologise for any inconvenience caused we are excited to show you our final results once the bridge is installed! 🚛🚓⚠️
