A few questions that get asked about our showers here are the answers:
Q: Do I need existing outside taps?
A: No. It doesn’t make a difference if there’s an outside tap there, we install the outdoor shower next to it, and leave the existing outside tap where it was or relocate it slightly if necessary as part of the price.
Q: Does it need an existing outdoor hot water feed?
A: No. We usually install the shower and box on the opposite side of an existing hot and cold water feed such as your kitchen or downstairs toilet, utility room or near your boiler.
Q: Does it not freeze?
A: If maintained and looked after properly, no. We install 2 isolating valves on the opposite side of the dog shower, one for the hot and one for the cold, so the water supply to the shower can be turned off and drained before extreme weather conditions.
Q: Does it need an electric supply?
A: No. It is a mixer shower which means it is fed by hot and cold water pipes.
Q: Is it hot water?
A: Yes. This outdoor dog shower is exactly the same as a shower you have in your house. It is a mixed feed, which gives you the choice of any temperature, hot or cold.
Q: How long does installation take?
A: Roughly 2 hours.
Q: Price?
A: Most of our installations will cost £350 all in with no hidden extras. This is provided you are located within an hour's drive from Belfast, the shower is going on an external wall opposite to a hot and cold water source and you have equal pressure hot and cold.
If your pressure is not equal then we have to fit a pressure reducing valve to the mains into the shower at an additional cost of £25.
If you live more than an hour from Belfast we will factor in cost of time and travel on an individual basis
Please don’t be reluctant to ask more questions, we’re here to help you out, provide clarity on our services and to provide 100% satisfaction to our customers👌🏼
