Friday morning saw some great progress on site a tidy cut back from the property to the mature chestnut tree, giving the customer more light and clearance while keeping the tree healthy and well balanced.

We also carried out a crown lift on a copper beech, raising the canopy to improve access, airflow, and overall shape. All work completed safely, to British Standards, and with full respect for the trees and the property.

It’s been a very busy week for both teams at MH Treecare Ltd.

We’ve been tackling several diseased trees, including ones affected by honey fungus trees that often look fine from the outside but are completely rotten internally. These become unsafe quickly, so getting them down is essential.

We’ve also carried out some big ash removals due to ash dieback, making sure weakened trees are safely taken down before they fail.

On top of that, we completed the takedown of a large Sycamore tree, which we were granted permission to remove by the TPO officer due to safety concerns and its declining condition.

To balance things out, the lads have also been planting new hedges for customers always good to replace what’s removed and keep properties looking smart.

Another solid week from the team, keeping and the wider area safe and tidy.

Removal of two roadside oak trees today with full traffic control in place.
From the outside these oaks looked healthy enough, but once inspected properly it was a different story.
Airline fractures along the bark led us to investigate deeper revealing open cavities and internal decay that made both trees unsafe for the roadside.

Each tree was carefully dismantled in controlled sections to keep the public and road users safe.
Another job completed to a high standard by the team.
