It’s November & I’m still booking lawn cuts. Keep thinking that’s it! Then the customers are messaging me.

When you next over Sean, lawn could do with a trim😂.

I call this lawn ‘The Wetherspoon’. The ascent to the top with a mower is not that dissimilar to the never ending windy staircase that leads to a Spoon’s main throne room. Not only that, this colossal willow throws out a staggering amount of leaves. Always fill the bin & have to climb in, trampolining to leave the customer at least enough room to discard their dead flowers & teabags.

Believe it or not, there is grass in there🤣.

Temps are cooling, grass is still growing, morning dew, rain. However lawns still require mowing. I reckon I’ve still got 2 more fortnightly cuts heading into November. The minute I’m churning soil, the party is over until March. Hedge jobs coming in thick & fast.

Another day & another Wisteria brought back into shape. Gotta take your time!. No hedge cutters just secateurs, loppers & patience.

Got another one booked in for Thursday.

New customer & new challenges in these mature gardens. Had a cancellation this morning so got them in first thing for the lawns. Front is on a slope so used the Cobra push along as it’s much lighter. Used the self propelled Atco roller on the rear. Strimmed & flip edged as always.

Finished ahead of time today, but way too early to finish, so got another 3 lawns in, including my own.

Who needs a gym when you have a mower.

Straight back to it. Big lawn day. 12 in total. Kicking off in Newbold Astbury cm Moreton. Regular customer new property & 2 extra lawns that come with it. 😁

Snuck this job in last minute. This will cover my b**r supplies over the weekend 😎🍻🍻🍻

Always be careful with conifers, you can take off but you cannot put back & it won’t ever grow back if you trim too deep!.

Cut into wood & the customer will be looking at a dead brown patch for the rest of their days. 👍🏼
