An experienced technician/ technologist is required to join our young and exciting practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and talented individual to be part of our growing success, working on small scale residential projects, new build schemes and commercial developments.
The successful candidate will be able to produce creative design concepts, planning drawings, construction drawings to the latest building regulations and be able to manage multiple projects. Working unsupervised as part of a growing team is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Produce imaginative and innovative designs with accurate planning and building regulation drawings
· Job running
· Carry out site surveys
· Produce design and access statements
· Offer leadership when required
· Mentor/ provide training to junior staff
· Support and manage a small team
· Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities and statutory officers
Requirements:
· Relevant Technical Qualification: Degree / HNC / HND
· 4+ Years’ experience post qualification (preferred)
· Proficient on AutoCAD & Revit
· Knowledge of UK planning and building regulations.
· Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
· Experience working on small scale residential projects (essential)
· Full UK driving licence
· The right to work in the UK
Hours & Environment:
· The working week will consist of 37.5 hours
· Flexible start and finish times to suit you and the company
· 26 day holiday entitlement plus 8 statuary days
